Winter fruits

After 3 hours on the mower this afternoon, I'm indulging in a desperate snap of the fruit bowl!
Tamarillos are a favourite of mine and I grew up in Whangarei where my parents had 5 tamarillo (we called them tree tomatoes then) trees in the garden amongst many other fruit trees.I enjoy them raw and macerated with a little raw sugar accompanied by a little yoghurt for breakfast with muesli.
