Notice Deeply . . . on Tiny Tuesday.
I had to find something for the children to draw today so I decided to give one of the school shrubs a light prune. It is a Hebe which I think is native to New Zealand. I was just thinking about the shape of the leaves being easy for them to draw and the line down the centre of each leaf would add interest. When I looked at the top of it I saw why there is a line down each leaf. The leaves are folded before they open.
In the extra is the 6 year olds drawings all glued on and displayed on the class wall. I was delighted with them.
