Drip Blip

A day dodging raindrops.  Mum and I delivered some unwanted handbags to the local charity shop this morning, and then after lunch we drove over to the Freeport shopping outlet at Braintree for a leisurely browse and a cuppa.  I bought a T-shirt, shirt and a stylish leather phone cover - total for the lot £26.50, original collective price £75.00.  Bargain.  And we successfully avoided a soaking in-between some torrential showers.  

Back home, the acer tree hadn't avoided a soaking.  The burnished leaves shivered in the breeze, and the drips glistened like crystals in the sunlight before dropping onto the ground below.
