Another very hot day -- perhaps not the best on which to take delivery of a lorry load of firewood which had to be stacked in the garage. We started at a steady pace, and happily our neighbour M came along to lend a hand -- surprising how much quicker it is with one extra pair of hands. It only took us an hour and a half, including a beer break. After a shower, I sat on the square with a magazine and my camera hoping to spot the cute geckos that were scuttling about yesterday evening, while S grilled beef and spit-roasted eggs on the barbie (having seen the latter technique in Caunettes yesterday). The geckos were not forthcoming and it was getting late, so I tried a Freespiral-style ripply blip with the fountain instead, and then fiddled with it in Lightroom. It's all I've got today!
