Damsel in distress - 600th blip
Has taken a while but made 600 entries.
On duty at Minsmere again today (after another trip to the dentist which brought unwelcome news that I'll have to have a root filling) It wasn't a bad morning I guess with Bittern flights, Avocets and almost grown up offspring and several Mediterranean Gulls but it wasn't a very busy one. The Avocets have had a good year this year, the best for almost 30 years.
Before I left I went down to the pond and managed a couple of sightings of Wesley the Water Vole. Sheltering from a sudden shower of rain I found this little beauty doing the same. Think it's Common Blue Tailed Damselfly.
