Lime Avenue

Today we headed for Colintraive for the short crossing over to Bute :-)
We headed for Mount Stuart House to enjoy a walk in the lovely grounds.
The walk down the lime avenue towards the shore walk was lovely. The greens of the trees were so lovely and fresh.
We headed along the shore walk towards the ruined boathouse then we headed up towards the house itself.
After lunch at the visitor centre we headed across the island to Ettrick Bay where we had a walk along the beach enjoying the views of the the north end of Arran before we headed back to Rhubodoch and the ferry back to Colintraive. Stopping at Rothesay to stock up on some groceries for the rest of the week :-)
