Leavers

My goodness how times change.

I work in a few different schools and I've seen a few different ways schools are marking the transition to secondary and I wonder if they make it worse??

I've seen leaving masses, leaving assemblies, personalised frames, trophies, certificates, trips and even a leavers jumper! (Which is my blip)

It is really nice, but really... Do we need to make some a big fuss over moving to high school? It's like nursery graduations... A wee bit OTT in my opinion. It puts pressure on families and undermines graduating from Uni.... Maybe I'm being cynical?
