El Colacho - Burgos

I went to Burgos and Madrid to watch the baby jumping festival.  It was weird and awesome.  We spent the morning watching El Colacho (man dressed as the devil) chasing children around the village so he could hit them with his cat o nine tails.  He was being followed by men in black cloaks, one of which was beating a huge drum.  Later on 2 of the men dressed as the devil jumped over babies on mattresses in the street.  Loved it!
