Mid-Summer Evening

For the first time this summer I was tempted out to catch some evening sun and pictures. Westward from the castle there was a bright sun and some interesting cloud features, and the castle was lit against a deep blue sky. 
The view eastwards was very varied in colour: dark shadows on parts of the Ochils but also green on the slopes withe the sun just catching the Wallace Monument. Seemed like a good picture for Mid- Summer
