They look edible. Just...

Rained all morning, so Emmi's planned visit to take Arch out was cancelled. As soon as we'd cancelled it - sunshine all afternoon. We had a wee play in the back garden instead. JR took him out for a big run on the Meadows this evening.

Friends were coming after school today, and so I had planned to make blueberry muffins, and this required my full attention... I watched a video on how to do it (three times) and it seemed foolproof. Well, almost...

One good tip was to use frozen blueberries and roll them in flour, which stops them sinking right in if you popped them on top before putting them in the oven. Wrong.

Apart from some of the muffins getting burned at the back of the oven - I didn't put out the worst ones - all of them pouring out of the paper cups with impractical deep wavy tops and looking decidedly unappetising, they tasted all right.

Here Archie is studying the muffins, looking for the four blueberries on top of each of them. He sees none. But he agrees that they look edible. Very edible.
