Pixar

A busy day in town with a film festival screening of the new Pixar movie in the afternoon. They'd taken over the whole theatre and there was face painting, souvenir photographs and free ice-creams laid on - they'd put on a really good event. My girls reckoned they were too big for the activities but they very rarely turn down food. Great film - unsurprisingly with Pixar there was something for all ages.

And talking of food, we then ended up down at the Botanics to catch the end of Cake-fest. A 70 square metre map of Edinburgh made of cake which they then cut up and handed out to a crowd of hundreds. It was all a bit of a scrum and far from demure. Most people were quite polite and all-round considerate but others just took the piss completely and walked off with handfuls of the stuff! Some people, some people... *shakes head in disbelief*
