Lily

The first lily flower has opened, somewhat later than some in our neighbour's garden but theirs are in a more sunny position. The reason ours are more sheltered is that although they are supposed to be suitable for patios the flower spikes are over 3 feet ( 1 metre plus) so a more open aspect would see them exposed to the winds
