new strings for my oud... that broke >_<

last night i slept at candice's house and we didn't wake up until about 10:30 this morning, it was an amazing sleep in :)
we got up made breakfast and then watched a movie called 'in time', back in bed again and on my laptop.
when we were about to leave we went for a walk down the paddock to take some photos of the new baby twin lambs that we discovered this morning.
when i got home i noticed that i had a package and inside was my new strings for my oud (lebanese guitar). i was so excited so i started to string it straight away. when i was finished stringing it i tuned it, as i was tuning it two of the brand new strings snapped.. i was not happy at all >_< so now i have to wait until i can order a whole new set of strings and wait for them to ship from lebanon just so that i am able to start playing the oud... i think i may just have to look for some when I'm in sydney in a few weeks time :)
so tonight my plan is to wait for candice to finish work and come over and then I'm going to read some harry potter and go to sleep :)
