Crow Chin

Crow chin rocks at the western end of Stanage Edge in the Peak District seen from Labybower Wood. The Wood is a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust SSSI Nature reserve.

Nice get out for a couple of hours this afternoon though it was still a grey skies day.

The wood is in full leaf now and visiting in the afternoon made spotting birds quite a challenge other than the ones that came to see us or that made such a racket they were impossible to miss. A family of 6 or 7 Wrens was the highlight but also worthy of note were 6 Swifts, some Lapwing chicks and young Kestrels begging for more voles for Sunday dinner.
