Quiet
Very low key day, doing the last of the thesis chapters and boring domestic paperwork. Cloudy and autumnal feeling (again!) but had to get out for a while so decided to walk over to the film festival again. Tiny bit of brightness as I walked but still cold-not what you expect on midsummer's day! Passed this mural on the Meadows that I've thought about blipping before, and thought it was likely to be the best opportunity on such a quiet day.
This time saw '45 years' an appropriately slow paced, poignant and ultimately heartbreaking film about a 45 year long marriage. Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay acted brilliantly.
Home for some supper and a bit more writing but didn't get round to the ironing. Otherwise pretty productive day
