Midsummer!!..

..to be fair, it's been a nice day, warm, nearly 15 degrees C, and sunny, but the rain started around 5, and has now set in..

Been pottering in the polytunnel, weeding, watering, feeding, tidying up..
And then A turned up with a piece of steel 18 inches square and 5 mm thick. It's quite heavy, and will be a new disc to fit blades to on my mower. I've had to cut the corners off to get a disc 19" in diameter, basically a circle with four straight edges! I've had to cut large holes, to allow access to bolts, and may have to drill some more to make the plate lighter..

I had a plate made from aluminium before, but the blades tore of it soon after. This is plan "B"..

So this is midsummer, it still feels like we're stuck between winter and spring!..
