There and back again

Arriving at Sabiha Gokcen airport, Istanbul, 8pm, after a quiet and contemplative day in Akbuk, mostly alone, mostly poolside, mostly lovely.  

On this Father's Day, Gareth sent an email to say he went to the Fox and Raven (Haven) for lunch with the kids but like me, felt mostly melancholy. Especially as last year they all went with Dad.  The extra pic was taken 6th June 2014, and is one of the very last pics I have of Dad. Always doing puzzles, reading  listening to music, or all of them.  In my thoughts always, but most especially today.  Love you Dad and miss you so very, very much.
