Secret

This unassuming bungalow is in fact the Kelvedon Nuclear Bunker. We finally made it along for a visit, and it didn't disappoint. Three floors of 1970s nuclear paranoia, the bunker was eventually de-commissioned in 1994. A somewhat wordy, but informative audio guide gives you all the background you could ever need, and it's definitely worth a trip. We stopped for a picnic on the way home and made some holiday plans for next year, and got home in time for the F1 highlights, and a well-deserved third place for Massa.
Today was also Father's Day- it's somehow my fourth without my Dad. I think he'd have enjoyed the bunker, and would certainly have approved of the F1!
