Heifers with a view

Heifers enjoying the morning sun. I guess Lady (on the right) has enjoyed the view to the pond enough in the five weeks on this paddock. Lucky for her, it finally looks eaten well enough, so I topped the grass in the afternoon and soon they'll get on to the next paddock.

Despite the dark clouds, it didn't rain today. The 24 millimetres during three previous days were more than enough though.
