Afternoon Tea

This could only be a National Trust property. They never let you down with their shortbread. This is at Baddesley Clinton. We didn't go into the house, but took the boys for a walk around the grounds, which took the best part of two hours. Just made it back to the tea room before they closed at 5 pm. C plumped for the cider, which is made in a little village in Herefordshire where we stayed last year, and he says it's excellent.
Yesterday evening our dogs started to bark and become very agitated at around 8:30 pm. We should have known better, and grabbed our cameras, as they don't normally start barking for no reason. Instead, we told them to be quiet.  A few seconds later we saw the reason - a hot air balloon very very low and almost in our garden. The pilot then managed to gain some more height and just skimmed the tops of the trees before disappearing behind the wood. We think he landed in the field behind the wood as we could hear the burners going "whoosh" for a few minutes afterwards, but didn't see him go up again.  And we didn't manage a single photograph.
