It's funny: I hardly noticed the 'slight' grouchiness at all of the wrong times or the torrential rain after my 7.52 am lie-in (a record which I'd have to go back well before daddyhood to beat), my magnificent porky grill-up, my wonderful cards and presents and the botanical trip.
