Yumm

This time last year our camping troop tried to get in to The Ship Inn in North Berwick, but we were far too many. Today we'd had a lovely day, and surprisingly warm weather, so with a few hours to spare after visiting Tantallon Castle and walking up the Berwick Law with our lovely visiting family, Mr H and I thought we'd give The Ship Inn another try - since there were just the 2 of us, we got a seat this time. The food was delicious, the cost pretty reasonable, and the barman saying 'shall I start a tab for you' was a joy. Unfortunately we had to say no as had World Premiere plans at the Film Festival (we didn't know it was a WP when we booked tickets, just a last minute, child-free Saturday night decision).

But I'm thinking one day soon running up a tab in The Ship Inn would make for a very nice evening!
