As I walked across to the campus, I heard a lot of birds giving alarm calls which alerted me to this cat, who was investigating a leafy hedgerow. Spent the morning at an exam board, then got a couple of trains back to Newcastle (change at Tamworth then the XC trundler for the rest of the journey). Managed to arrive at the conference in time for dinner and the after dinner speech, but made my excuses and went to bed early after that, very tired.
