.....leave your dog sheep outside when visiting this branch of T.E.S.Co!!
And show a little forebearance when enquiring about the availability of newspapers!  Unlike todays tourist who was less than courteous when informed by the rather po-faced shoplady that he would get todays newspaper if he came back to the shop tomorrow!!
But the lagoustine,crab and lobster served up as the evening meal in the one pub/hotel on the island would have come out of the sea in the morning ! :-))
And the eggs ,strawberries and lettuce come from Bryan and Moiras garden ten minutes ago ....tasting as eggs and strawberries should !! 
A nd there being no policeman on the island the fire in the bar and the malt on the shelf can be enjoyed without fear of dire consequences!
And although the straw sun hat and sun-tan lotion are languishing bored on the back seat of the car with nothing to do ,and the cagoule is knackered with overwork ,   the corn-crake is crakeing away, the snipe are still drumming, the flowers in the machair are as beautiful as ever, and the Atlantic still lulling you to sleep with its rolling sea music!
Just wish that Bryan would nt keep saying "Oh, you just missed the sea eagle.....again " !
What I haven't missed is the I phone which has remained stubbournly blank  since leaving Oban!   Even then double glazing salesmen have been unable to find me! :-)
But the wi-fi comes free with the afternoon cream tea at the little coffee shop :-))
Which is how I am saying hello today :-D
