A bit of history

A gorgeous winter day - cold, but it is the shortest day after all. I would have liked to have headed inland to get some snow pics, but there were things that needed to be done here in town. So I settled for a quiet jog along the Avon through town and park, and came across an interesting little bit of history - the plaque and info is in extras.
