The Big Cruise Day 28: Spring green

The last full day's cruising in company with our friends Audrey and Pete on their hire boat, Princess.

Somehow this tree, standing alone in its field and showing bright green in the sunlight, appealed to me. We had seen very little sun and a lot of rain. April had been the wettest in 100 years apparently.

So this tree marked the close of the first half of our cruise and hopefully signalled blue skies and warmth for the second half to come ...
