Anyone can be a Father….

... it takes someone special to be a Dad.  I have a very special Dad whom I love very much.  We had my Dad and Mom over for a early Father's Day dinner this evening.  I told him I would cook anything he wanted for dinner.  At 91 years old, I think he deserved to be treated well!.  His menu was lobster tail, bake potato, fresh string beans, garden salad, homemade chocolate cake and coffee ice cream.  I am happy to report he cleaned his plate.  After we stuffed our faces,  we looked at my Dad's heritage album that my Mom created of his family history.  It was a very enjoyable evening with my parents.  When they were ready to leave, I did not have to twist my Dad's arm to take home some of the leftover cake. I was happy to see the cake go before I was tempted to eat another slice!
