Pomp and ceremony

As I tried to get out of Peebles today, I was met with the Beltane court blocking my exit. I waited 10 minutes or so and took the opportunity to take some photos. The two gentlemen in red jackets remind me of the Chelsea pensioners, albeit the hats are different. Can't remember what was read out other than "God save the Queen" which was a rallying cry towards the end.
