Saturday: Old Lion

Well, J's baggage turned up today so all is well.  

It's been a great day exploring.  Šibenik is a great little town, full of historic detail.  Imagine how many ancient hands have touched this lion.......

We had a great meal out tonight in a restaurant with very friendly staff. When we were done and were just about to pay, they brought us a free plate of deep fried whitebait.  I have to say, it was the last thing we wanted.  But we didn't want to be rude so we scooped the majority into K's handbag for distributing to local cats. Her handbag is airing on the windowsill as I type.....
