Spider-girl

My sister and her family live in this beautiful little village which today celebrated its annual fete. It was lovely, really really lovely. Local honey, jams and curds, scones and assorted other homemade goodies as well as lots of little games and activities such as hook a duck, splat the rat, the human fruit machine (run by my sister and her husband and friend - as you need 3 people!), tombolas raising for the preschool (which my niece attends) and a book stall raising for the church. A great and proper English experience - and it wore us all out! A super fun day but all my photos are of the girls with their faces painted! Mine was of course Spider-Girl!
