Mr Rat

Today I was supporting a team of 3 runners from our club who did a relay of the northern half of the West Highland Way. (there were also runners doing the whole 96 miles solo with the winner of that taking 14hrs 14 mins, more than 2 hours ahead of the next person).
It was a bit grey and drizzly but not too much wind and quite cool, so quite good for running.
Mr Rat ran leg 2 from Glencoe ski centre to Kinlochleven over the Devil's Staircase, the shortest leg but still not easy, this is him coming into the finish a bit earlier than expected. The other 2 legs were run by women.
The team finished 24th out of ? (probably 30+) and the other club team (men) was a few places in front.
The other main Dundee club also had 2 teams and one was in first place until the 3rd man had a nasty fall and had to go to be stitched up - fortunately he seems to be fine.
It was a beautiful and quiet drive home as the clouds cleared away.
