Deer and a Snowy Sunset, Peel Forest

Another gorgeous winter day and things just seem to get more picturesque!

This afternoon I shot into town to grab some essentials, and elected to stop and capture this deer herd in front of the snow covered ranges.

We're still without electricity and to make matters worse our generator is not starting. I'm not sure when it's due to be back on - apparently us and the Fairlie area are still without power, probably due to the amount of snow on the lines, So I write this by candlelight, hoping that the weak cell signal will see it uploaded. If it's not up tonight, I've had to wait until walking to the end of the road in the morning (it's too cold and icy out there right now!)
