Poppy in the Rain

You know the British weather is conspiring against you when the week has good weather only for it to break down at the weekend.  This poppy is part of a display created by a local garden centre at a roundabout near Brownhills.  In fact it is adjacent to the field where the Staffordshire Hoard was found.  I didn't hang around to look for more treasure.  It was raining and large claps of thunder could be heard in the distance.

At least as I post this the end of the day is bright and sunny.  Now, can I possibly get up in time to capture sunrise on the longest day of the year?
