Flow Country

It’s a couple of years since I last visited RSPB Forsinard - two very obvious differences in that time.

Firstly there is now a very dramatic viewing tower (see the extra) that this picture was taken from, and secondly lots of anti-RSPB signs around the village.  

The RSPB are planning quite a lot of further development work and there is clearly some vociferous local opposition to that development, I haven’t really got my head round the issues or the reasoning behind the opposition.

It's also disappointing to see that the Forsinard Hotel has closed down - I always wanted to stay there.
