It seems that both the old rulers of Saxony and the modern day tourists think that the Langer Gang is a one way street for pedestrians (and horses).

This very long mural (this is only one small segment) was created in 1902, and is made up of thousands of Meissan porcelain tiles. Remarkably it came out of the 1945 firestorm virtually intact. That porcelain teacup is stronger than it looks !

Summer has proved elusive today - see the Extra, featuring two Engels of Raphael which the the Gemalde-gallerie at the Zwinger palace markets quite a lot !
