The beginning

And so begins the moving process. Culling possessions is always a multi-step process for me, usually involving several stages that progress from sentimental inability to throw away to complete confusion over previous sentiment. This takes a few cleaning cycles to complete and as I prepare to put things in storage I'm trying to be as ruthless as possible.

But it's our last weekend as a household, so the excitement of packing and getting ready for new adventures is tempered somewhat by that sadness. Tonight we had our last household movie night, tomorrow we'll take a break for lunch at the local cafe. And then next week the break up begins.
