Wappenbaum

I picked up my new identity card today which is now the same size as a credit card. The first to change were the driving licences. Now everything is neat and tidy in our purses. :-)

This tree thingy however you might call it (in German it's a Wappenbaum) sits in front of the townhall. Various firms and associations of Sandershausen have one of those plates hanging up there. Many towns have a Wappenbaum in Germany.
