The Midsummer's Eve Dinner.

As you can see we could sit outside on a lovely sunny evening and eat a typical Midsummer meal.
Most of Sweden had grey rainy weather so we felt fortunate. Another reason to be happy is that this day actually did seem to be the first real summer day of the year. Between the main course and dessert we went for a walk and the air was soft and still and warm.
Our good friends Lensmemory and A shared the evening with us.
All-in-all a great day and evening.

Strangely enough after all this talk of Midsummer yesterday wasn't the "real" midsummer, though it is this year's "official" Midsummer Eve.  The actual solstice, the longest day this year, is Sunday, 21 June  We'll hope for similar weather that day too!
