Taking a Break?

This one of the parents who have been working so hard to feed their hungry babies; but here he is at our window looking at himself. He flitted about the window for quite awhile; I suppose Mom bird was out there working like crazy. Eventually he flew off to join in the feeding task.

My grandson came over to help me with yard work today. I worked along side him for 4 hours. We were both tired when we were done. He is 15 years old and I know my time with him will become more and more limited, so I value my time with him. He is such a sweet caring young man. My husband came out and joined us for a little while and he was amused when I offered this grandson as break for what we were doing. My idea of a break was that he change tasks and move some stepping stones. I am not much for breaks; once I start working, I work till I have to stop! We have always worked for ourselves, so breaks meant we would have to work later.
We never did get that rain, so made sure the sprinklers were watering everywhere.
Thanks for continuing to visit and comment. I did a little commenting and replying yesterday because I got so excited to see that little hummer on the first page of "popular". Not so much today.
