Along The Oregon Trail

Today we went through Bend, Oregon. There were many beautiful murals on walls of buildings. I particularly liked this one depicting a stop along the Oregon Trail. I try to imagine the hardships. Many young girls left families after getting married and going with their husbands. The only communication with families would be letters sent that could take a few months to arrive. It's such an interesting bit of History.
