Decay

The old apple tree is sick.

We have mildew.

We have fungus on the roots.

Really abstract and colourful. The fungus and the tree have to learn to live together. Prof. W seems to say, this is not a death sentence. Do we cut out the fungus? Do we let it grow and prosper? Do we cut down the tree and just buy apples at the farm shop?

Is this an allegory?
