Porty People and Places

The sun rose just before 0400 this morning.

It was bright and sunny for a few minutes then before it disappeared behind the clouds that persisted most of the day. The best temperature here, today, was 13 degrees .

My blip was taken at 2155 just before sunset this evening.  

The plane is a 12 year old  Airbus 320 operated by BA on the LGW to EDI route. The plane is heading towards Inchkeith  Island before turning left and descending to Edinburgh airport six miles to the east.

Midsummer has arrived, but summer has yet to join the party ... this might  just be the year that summer forgets to turn up altogether?!
