Footbridge

So with the house full of teenage girls blasting out house music it didn't take much to encourage Ruby and Joe to leave the house for a lengthy (7 and a bit miles) walk along the riverbank, past Hailes Castle and on to East Linton. Bus back home and then a Chinese banquet as a reward.

We didn't see another soul for the entire walk and my favourite moment was wandering alongside a field of poppies and hearing Joe say "I'm really happy".
