Towards Skiddaw

We are away for a few days in the northern lakes, staying near the top end of Bassenthwaite.  Lovely cottage.  

This is Bassenthwaite looking towards Skiddaw.  You wouldn't think it is June as it is quite cold but at least it's dry.

Looking forward to a few days exploring a different part of this lovely county.

C&N phoned tonight to let us know that we will be grand-parents in the new year.  Crikey.
