Okay, so like I really wanted to enjoy the day today, being solo for the weekend, but then - like the idiot I can sometimes be - I opted to settle on the sofa and catch up on the news . . .

My thoughts, condolences and distraught feelings of remorse and sadness goes out to the parishioners of "Mother Emmanuel" A.M.E. In Charleston

Having been raised in the A.M.E. Church and being (forced) in attendance at weekly Wednesday night bible study, I just feel sort of vacant.

When informed that the young man who is "accused" of committing the act told the arresting officers he almost didn't go through with it because "everybody he met in the Church were so nice to him", She simply said

"what did he expect?"
