Granny's Bonnet

This pretty aquilegia is growing just beside the wall in my garden.  I didn't know until today that these pretty flowers are known as Granny's Bonnet or wildflower columbine.
It's so chilly here it's hard to believe that Monday is Midsummer's Day - the forecasted weather is showing 16 degrees for Glasgow on Monday ..... hardly a summer temp!
