Closer to the Heart

We met our good friends, Doug and Robbyn, for dinner and then the four of us went to the Rush concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Playing to a home town crowd, the group rocked their performance that included songs from their 40 year career. Although Rush is a bit of an acquired taste and three person rock bands are unusual, the musicians are incredible and produce a very full sound. Neil Peart's drum kit is extensive and fans were treated to probably the best drum solo that I have ever heard. This photo is of Geddy Lee, who sings lead vocals and plays bass guitar and keyboards.
