Daylily Time

The daylilies along our driveway are starting to bloom. From now on there will be brilliant color all along the driveway. I love them. I ordered them two summers in a row from a catalog and planted them taking care to mix colors and blooming times so that something would be out all through July and August. This year they are early and are blooming in June too. When I planted them the company said to be sure to thin them out periodically. Well it is over twenty years later and I never have. They are just as happy as can be just the way I planted them.
