Taking steps

Broughty Ferry beach is now closed for the evening as the official lifeguards ceremoniously remove their steps. A signal that (if you were daft enough) it is no longer safe to swim in the freezing River Tay. As the extra photo shows, the ceremony is officially brought to a close with the lowering of the green flag.
I gave up and went home after that.
