A busy day

I've walked close on 10 miles today, according to,my Fitbit. in the morning Carole and I walked through the wood behind our house to inspect the fire devastation. (The hoses are still there, but not attached to anything). From there we had did a round of the moor.

After lunch we drove to Whitley Bay to see #2 daughter and James - Thomas was at nursery. We had a walk along the prom and it must have been all of 12 degrees. Then we called on #3 daughter to see Ella and Nathaniel, and help with bedtime. The wind-down of the day is Peppa Pig which they both love. Then we went out for food. Carole enjoyed her catch up with the daughters and told the waiter she was their English teacher. #3 daughter did not confess that she didn't read Hamlet - all she knows is the Mel Gibson version.
